Scheduled for Thursday, September 14th, 2023, from 9 am to 4 pm, the event will be hosted in the Skelton Room, at the Frilford Heath Golf Club Ltd, Oxford Road, Abingdon, Oxon, OX13 5NW
UK. Attendees will be provided with an overview of GeoCue’s TrueView 3D Imaging Sensors and hardware, gaining insights into their exceptional capabilities for capturing accurate and detailed geospatial data.
In addition, the Drone LiDAR Tour will feature an introduction to LP360 LiDAR and Photogrammetry 3D point cloud software, showing attendees how to effectively process and analyze the data collected during drone flights.
One of the highlights of the event will be a flight demonstration featuring a DJI M300 Drone equipped with a TrueView 515 Payload. The AlphaGeo team will also set up the accompanying Accuracy Star from GeoCue, to improve the precision and the accuracy of the point cloud. Attendees will be able to see how the drone and payload are seamlessly integrated to capture high-resolution LiDAR data, to generate true 3D colorized point clouds, oblique imagery, and orthophotos.
To ensure a productive and enjoyable experience, GeoCue and AlphGeo UK have organized lunch and coffee breaks for attendees, allowing ample time for networking and discussions. There is no charge to the event, making it accessible to a wide range of geospatial professionals, including engineers, surveyors, remote sensing specialists, and others interested in exploring the potential of drone LiDAR technology.

Deaglan joined AlphaGeo at the beginning of 2023, after moving back home from New Zealand! to be a UAV operator, conducting highly accurate aerial surveys. Degsy has a substantial background in drone operation for TV, filming shows for Channel 4, ITV and Discovery documentaries. He now puts his extensive drone knowledge to use for AlphaGeo, conducting highly accurate aerial surveys.
