LP360 Software Multi-Cycle Import
We are excited to introduce a new feature in our LP360 software: support for multi-cycle import of our TrueView™ and guest sensors. With this new time-saving function, you can:
- Cycles can be added with base observation and ancillary files, survey nail information, and batch import, showing progress and status reporting per cycle
- All base station observation files can be added and the LP360 software will auto select the appropriate ones for each cycle
- Antenna height is read from the RINEX and where possible the T02 base observation files
- Create a survey nail/reference mark from the coordinates found in an archived cycle
- Right-click menu options for setting area, ancillary files, and survey nail/reference mark
- Support for T02 base observation files for all POSPac-supported trajectory positioning options
- Automatically generate view groups for each cycle and temporal date
Step-by-Step Instructions
To get started, choose Import Cycle into New Project from TrueView startup, which will pull up the TrueView Import Wizard. You can then choose which flights to import into your project. For this example, we’ll use Import Flights into NEW LP360 Project from UMS and/or Archives.
The browse folder dialog will appear, allowing you to select multiple raw cycle folders at one time.
Once you have your flights imported, you can add an area description and ancillary files. Note: User-editable columns have the pencil icon in the header.
Go to the next screen to see if it has imported your base observation files and if they are present in the Cycle\System folder. Otherwise, manually add them.
On the next screen, you’ll see your project root folder where you will output the data, add your project name, and select coordinate reference system. See video at 4:27 for step-by-step instructions and more information.
On the wizard’s next page, there are a few more parameters that you will want to set for each of these cycles. Choose your reference mark/survey nail, and it will load the base latitude, longitude, and height. The antenna height is read from the base observation file and can be edited by the user in this dialog.
Once you select finish, everything will be imported for your final field check or to continue on with the TrueView processing workflow.
